The Storm X-55 is a unique luxury aluminum motor yacht that excels in comfort, functionality and design. Developed in collaboration with Van Oossanen Naval Architects, this yacht guarantees excellent sailing characteristics, stability and efficiency, even on open water.
All-round equipment
All around, the Storm X-55 is finished with teak decks, complete with stylish stainless steel drainage gutters. The wide gangways are safely enclosed by a high bulwark with integrated doors. The electric capstans make docking easy and controlled, while the two Hydrosta hydraulic spud poles provide additional stability when anchoring or mooring.
On the foredeck there is a practical storage area for the sunbed, and in the foreship there is space for storing fenders. The underwater hull is designed with attention to hydrodynamics, resulting in smooth and quiet sailing.
Technology & comfort on deck
Electric doors to port and starboard next to the steering position give you easy access from the salon to the outside. The hydraulic sinking swim platform provides direct access to the water and the aft transom is folding, giving access to the spacious tender storage. Integrated into this tender store are both a shower facility and a deck washer, perfect for longer stays on board.
The yacht features a radar bracket that can be hydraulically folded down. The Besenzoni gangway makes safe and comfortable boarding easy no matter what the situation. Both the forward and aft decks are equipped with shore power outlets, and the aft deck features floor lighting and heating for added ambiance and comfort. An awning provides shade on hot days.
The stainless steel façade and deluxe side doors provide a direct connection between the salon and the gangways, blending inside and out seamlessly.
Drive
The Storm X-55 is equipped with Volvo IPS propulsion, which ensures optimal maneuverability, efficient fuel consumption and a quiet cruising experience. Thanks to the aluminum construction, the yacht is light, strong and durable.

Very robust technical system. There is a shore power connection on the foredeck and aft deck. The Storm has teak decks all around with stainless steel drainage gutters. The gangways are wide and enclosed by a high bulwark that has doors. The electric capstans make mooring even easier. In addition, the ship is equipped with 2 hydraulic spud poles. On the foredeck is storage for the sun bed and in the foreship the fenders can be stored.
The swimming platform can be lowered hydraulically. The aft mirror is folding and gives access to the tender store. In the tender store is a shower facility and a deck wash installation. The deck wash facility is equipped with an anti-scaling system. On the fore and aft deck is a shore power connection. On the aft deck is floor lighting and heating. The radar bracket can be hydraulically lowered and there is a sun awning. The Besensoni gangway makes boarding from the dock even easier. The gangways are accessible from the saloon through the stainless steel facade and luxury side doors. 2x searchlight, fold-down radar mast.
