Discover the Beluga 40 Satellite Yacht Design
This composite sailing yacht was designed by the internationally renowned Van der Stadt and built by Schaap Ship Care in Lelystad. A yard that also built 2 Volvo Ocean Race boats. Because of the building material, woodcore epoxy, the construction is very strong and at the same time very light. The hydraulic lifting keel makes a draft of 1.30 to 2.40 possible. In 2017 the entire ship was sprayed in a 2 component paint system. The extensive sail wardrobe is in good condition. You can sail competitively with the boat but a long trip is of course also possible. The interior is light and modern and equipped with all comforts.

Because of the hydraulically operated lifting keel there is a variable draft of 1.30 to 2.40 meters. The hull and superstructure were painted in a 2 component system in 2017. Very light and strong due to composite construction. Bow thruster 2022 built in. Chartplotter 2021. Antifouling and anodes 2022. Survey report 2021 available.

Light and modern lounge. The kitchen worktop is made entirely of stainless steel and therefore makes a modern, timeless, impression. The stove is a Wallas diesel 2 burner, so there is no gas on board. The bed length is generous; front bed 2.04 m, salon benches 2.12 m with sliding partition, rear bed 2.10 m. There are no fewer than 7 berths in total.

The economical and reliable Yanmar diesel has a consumption of approximately 2.25 liters per hour. There are heavy duty batteries built in and the extra 130 Ah alternator means the set is quickly charged by the main engine. The inverter has a capacity of no less than 2000 Watts.
